Millets are a type of small-grained cereal food crop that is highly resistant to drought and other extreme weather conditions and is grown with minimal chemical inputs such as fertilizers and pesticides. Most millet crops are native to India and are popularly known as Nutri-cereals because they provide the majority of the nutrients required for normal human body functioning.
