The IAS (UPSC CSE) exam centres are there all over the country. It is alloted on a first-come-first-serve basis and candidates should register at the earliest to ensure that they are allotted their choice of centre for IAS Prelims 2021. The exam centre and venue are mentioned in the IAS admit card and it cannot be changed. Do note that, as per the final verdict from Supreme Court, candidates who are age-barred after UPSC 2020 for exceeding the age limit, will not get an extra attempt.

Candidates had to make a choice of the most preferred IAS Exam Center but the Commission has the authority of allocation of the centre. A candidate can choose any IAS Exam Center 2021 from the given list, whichever is convenient for him/her. Usually, the number of IAS Prelims exam centres is more than IAS Mains exam centres as there are more candidates to be accommodated.
