IBPS Clerk 2020 Exam will be conducted on December 12, 13 and 19, 2020 by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. IBPS Clerk exam is conducted for the recruitment of clerical cadre posts in multiple banks all over the country. IBPS Clerk 2020 recruitment will be conducted through two stages – Preliminary exam and Main exam. IBPS Clerk 2020 Main exam is scheduled for January 24, 2021. As per IBPS Clerk 2020 Eligibility, candidates possessing a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for the exam.IBPS Clerk 2020 Application Form will tentatively be available from September 17, 2020.

  • The application fee is INR 600 for General, OBC, and EWS categories and INR 100 for Sc, ST, and PwD candidates.
  • As per IBPS Clerk 2020 Exam Pattern, the prelims paper will be a 60-minute long computer-based test having 100 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each. 
  • There will be sectional timings as well as a sectional cutoff in the exam.
  • IBPS Clerk 2020 Syllabus includes General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude and General/ Financial Awareness section.
  • Final Allotment will be based only on performance in IBPS Clerk main exam.

IBPS Clerk 2020 Eligibility 

Candidates can apply for vacancies in any one State/ Union Territory. Candidates have to fulfill the following IBPS Clerk 2020 Eligibility Criteria to appear for the recruitment exam:

IBPS Clerk Age Limit 

  • Candidates must be a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 28 years of age as of September 1, 2020 .
  • Candidates should be born on or after September 2, 1992, and on or before September 1, 2000.

IBPS Clerck Nationality

  • Indian Citizen or subject to Bhutan/Nepal/Tibet.
  • The aspirants, who have migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zaire, Malawi, Zambia, Vietnam, and Ethiopia and have planning to permanently settle down to India, then they can apply for the exam. 

IBPS Clerk Educational Requirement 

  • A graduation degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification recognized by the government of India.
  • The date of passing the qualifying exam should be before October 9, 2020, means that final year students cannot apply for the exam.
  • Computer Literacy: candidates must have studied Computer/ IT at high school/ college/ institute or possess certificate/ degree/ diploma in computer operations or language.  
  • Candidates must be proficient in the official language of the State/ UT in which they wish to apply. 

IBPS Clerk Application Form 2020

IBPS Clerk 2020 Application Form will tentatively be available from September 17 – October 9, 2020. Candidates can fill the form in online mode only by following the given steps:

  1. Visit the official website – ibps.in
  2. Click on New Registration for CRP Clerks-X 2020-2021.
  3. Enter your name, date of birth, email ID and Mobile number, and other details.
  4. A registration number and password will be sent on your email ID and mobile number.
  5. Login again using these credentials to fill the application form.
  6. Enter your personal, educational, and contact details, category, the state applied for, preferred exam center, etc.
  7. Now, upload your scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration in specified formats.
  8. Now, pay the required IBPS Clerk registration fees as per your category in online mode only.
  9. After successful fee payment, download a soft copy of filled in the application form and fee receipt.

IBPS Clerk Application Fee 2020

Candidates have to pay the IBPS Clerk application fee using Debit cards (Rupay/ Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro), Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS, Mobile Wallets or Cash Cards. The registration fees vary as per candidate’s category:

IBPS Clerk 2020 Admit Card

IBPS Clerk 2020 Admit card is released separately for three stages – Pre-exam training, Preliminary and Main exam.

  • IBPS Clerk Call letters for pre-exam training will be released on November 13, 2020 .
  • IBPS Clerk admits card for the preliminary exam will be released on November 26, 2020 .
  • IBPS Clerk Hall Ticket for main exam will be issued on January 7, 2021.
  • Only prelims qualified candidates can download admit card for the main exam.

IBPS Clerk 2020 Exam Pattern has many similarities in Preliminary and Main Examination as mentioned below:

  • IBPS Clerk Exam will be a computer-based test and will have multiple-choice questions.
  • All questions will be available in English and Hindi languages except English section questions.
  • There will be sectional timings means a particular section has to be completed in a specified duration.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 of the allotted marks to the question. 
  • The scores will be normalized to equate the difficulty level of the papers in different slots.
  • You will be required to clear sectional cutoffs along with overall cut off in both Prelims and Main exams.

  • IBPS Clerk 2020 Result for prelims exam will be released on January 1, 2021 at the official website. 
  • The cutoff of the IBPS Clerk Exam will vary State wise.
  • A candidate has to clear both the sections wise as well as the overall cut off as decided by IBPS for qualifying the IBPS Clerk Exam.

I had apply for pre exam training but I don't have time to participate bcoz my semester exam is going on what can I do for it .it is compulsory to attain the class

Hi Venmani, pre-exam training is not compulsory. It is only for physically disabled candidates to make them familiar with the exam interface prior to the exam date. It is up to you if you want to attend it or not.
