UPTET Notification 2026 has been released on March 20, 2026, by UPESSC. With the release of the notification, candidates can check important details such as exam pattern, vacancies, syllabus, eligibility criteria, required documents, application process, and reservation category guidelines. The application process is being conducted from March 27 to April 26, 2026.
To appear for UPTET 2026, candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria as mentioned in UPTET Notification. This includes nationality, age limit, educational qualification, and number of attempts.
Applicants must be Indian. If applicants are from Nepal, Bhutan, or any other country, they must provide a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India. However, applicants with UP domicile will get all preferences.

Candidates take unlimited UPTET exam attempts, but they need to be within the age limit as per their category criteria. UPSSC will give details about the number of attempts in UPTET Notification 2026.
The UPESSC has already started the application process for UPTET 2026 exam from March 27, 2026, through its official website. The application process is completely online, and candidates can submit their forms until April 26, 2026. UPTET has a similar syllabus for Paper 1, for the primary level, and Paper 2 for the upper primary level. Paper 1 has five sections, and Paper 2 has 4 sections. Both papers have similar sections, but Paper 2 has more.
