The correct answer is

Approach - Avoidance conflict

Concept: A motivational conflict is classified by whether the goal in front of the person is attractive (approach) or unattractive (avoidance), and by how many goals are involved.

Here a single option - the promotion - carries both attractive and unattractive features at the same time: a higher salary and a new title pull the employee towards it (approach), while ten extra hours of work each week and a move to a remote place push the employee away from it (avoidance).

When one and the same goal has both positive and negative aspects, the person is in an approach-avoidance conflict. A everyday parallel is accepting a dream job that requires relocating far from family - one goal, pulling and pushing at once.

Option check: Approach-approach means choosing between two attractive options, and avoidance-avoidance means choosing between two unattractive options; neither fits, because here there is a single goal, not two. 'Approach conflict' alone is not the standard label for this pull-and-push situation, so it too is ruled out.

Hence this is an example of an approach-avoidance conflict.
