The Uttar Pradesh government has made 270 acres of land available for the first phase of airport development.

  • GAGAN is being developed by AAI in collaboration with ISRO.
  • Navigation signals collected from the Global Positioning System (GPS) would be supplemented to obtain the aircraft's navigational requirements.

Performance-Based Navigation

At Delhi, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad airports, the AAI has implemented Performance Based Navigation Procedures.
