The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Examination is conducted every year to fill various vacancies in the government department for different posts in various ministries. The different posts that will be filled by the examination include posts like Assistants, Auditors, Inspectors, etc. under different government departments, ministries and organizations.
The total number of vacancies for the total posts under the SSC CGL examination is approximately 4500 in number. The final selection for the post allotment is made on the basis of the marks obtained in all the tiers. The minimum SSC CGL grade pay is INR 2400 while the maximum is INR 4800.
