The Staff Selection Committee (SSC) Examination is conducted every year to fill various vacancies in the government department for different posts in various ministries. Combined Graduate Level is another examination that has huge vacancies and fills the posts every year. The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC CGL 2020 notification on October 22, 2019 on its official website to fill in more than 12000 vacancies. There are around 34 posts offered in CGL. Below is given the various job profiles of all such posts that come under the SSC- CGL examination.

SSC CGL Vacancies

The different posts that will be filled by the examination include posts like Assistants, Auditors, Inspectors, etc. under different government departments, ministries and organizations.

The total number of vacancies for the total posts under the SSC CGL examination is approximately 4500 in number. The final selection for the post allotment is made on the basis of the marks obtained in all the tiers. The minimum SSC CGL grade pay is INR 2400 while the maximum is INR 4800.

SSC CGL Job Profiles for Different Posts

The job profiles offered under SSC CGL exam that come under Group A are that of an Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer. Below is given a table that describes both the job profiles.

The SSC CGL assistant in the railway ministry job profile is more of a clerical type as far as the job role is considered. But in terms of grade, the job profile is above the upper division clerk (LDC). The post is entitled to many perks which makes it one of the most lucrative posts.

The candidates opt for SSC CGLDivisional Accountant [Offices under CAG] job post which will come under CAG. The roles and responsibilities include auditing expenses of works/ projects carried out by the state government. The reports are sent to the CAG headquarters to point out any sorts of malpractice. Traveling is not incorporated in this job profile.
