Paper I is compulsory for all candidates. Paper II is only for candidates shortlisted for JSO/Statistical Investigator Grade-II, while Paper III applies to candidates shortlisted for Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer posts. Computer Knowledge Test and DEST are qualifying in nature.
There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Sections I, II and III of Paper I, while 0.50 marks are deducted for each wrong answer in Paper II and Paper III.
