Hi, my dob is 28/11/1990 and comes under OBC category. Now am exactly 30 years of age. For how many years I can apply for SSC CGL posts? In some websites, the maximum age limit is shown as 32 and while in others as 30. It creates a confusion, if it is 30 I can apply up to 33 yrs and if it is 32 i can apply up to 35. Which one is correct ? Also, for which posts I can apply from now onwards ? I could see that for some posts it is 30 the max age for OBC categories.. Is this time enough for one to clear scc cgl ?
D
diya suresh

Hi Athira, Age criteria varies with post and category. For some SSC post, maximum age permissible is 27 years, however for some it si upto 30 years and 32 years as well. For OBC category students, there is relaxation of 3 years in upper age limit. So in short as you are 30, you can apply for every available post with category reservation.

Prepare well for every year and don’t wait till the last year of age limit.
