The correct answer is

Both Statement I and Statement II are incorrect.

This question is based on Harold Lasswell's classic model of communication, which breaks the process into five elements: Who (communicator) says What (message) through Which channel to Whom (receiver) with What effect. Each element corresponds to a distinct type of analysis: study of the communicator corresponds to Control analysis, study of the message corresponds to Content analysis, study of the channel corresponds to Media analysis, study of the receiver corresponds to Audience analysis, and study of the effect corresponds to Effect analysis.
Statement I claims that studying the communicator leads to content analysis. This is incorrect: according to Lasswell's model, studying the 'Who' (the communicator, including who controls the message and the channel) corresponds to Control analysis, not content analysis.
Statement II claims that analysing 'says what' (the message) is control analysis. This is also incorrect: analysing the message itself ('says what') corresponds to Content analysis, not control analysis; the two labels have been swapped.
Since both statements have interchanged the correct terms and are therefore each wrong, the correct answer is Both Statement I and Statement II are incorrect.
