  • Lochen Rinchen Zangpo founded it in the early half of the eleventh century.
Rumtek Monastery Sikkim
  • The Dharmachakra Centre is another name for it.
  • It's a Buddhist temple known as a gompa (Buddhist ecclesiastical fortifications of learning, lineage and sadhana).
