The correct answer is

Stereotypes

Concept: When people carry their own preconceptions and narrow frames of reference and then spread their limited attitudes about issues, groups and images, the result is a fixed, oversimplified and often exaggerated mental picture applied to a whole category of people. In communication and media studies this is exactly what is called a stereotype.

Why this fits: Preconceptions + limited personal attitudes + generalising them to issues and images = a rigid, ready-made image = stereotyping. So the outcome described is Stereotypes.

Why the other choices are wrong:
- Stable identity is a settled, healthy self-concept; imposing one's biases on others does not build a stable identity, so this does not follow.
- Social harmony means peaceful co-existence; spreading limited, prejudiced attitudes actually damages harmony rather than creating it.
- Positive public opinion is a fair, favourable collective view; narrow preconceptions distort opinion and make it biased, not positive.

Takeaway: Spreading one's own limited, preconceived attitudes to whole issues or groups breeds stereotypes.

Correct answer: Stereotypes
