  • The Mission proposes a national effort to transform biodiversity science by connecting it to people's economic prosperity.
  • It also aims to help India achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by utilising India's rich biodiversity to develop solutions to challenges in agriculture, health, and climate change.
