UGC NET 2022 exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), was held in multiple phases due to the merging of the December 2021 and June 2022 cycles. UGC NET June 2022 cycle began with Phase 1 on July 9, 11, and 12, 2022, followed by Phase 2 from September 20 to October 22, 2022. December 2022 cycle was conducted in five phases, with Phase 1 from February 21 to 24, 2023, Phase 2 from February 28 to March 2, 2023, Phase 3 from March 3 to 6, 2023, Phase 4 on March 11 and 12, 2023, and Phase 5 from March 13 to 16, 2023. This extended schedule ensured that a wide range of subjects were covered, accommodating numerous candidates across the country.
