National Testing Agency (NTA) has released UGC NET June 2026 Final Answer Key on August 28, 2026. The UGC NET June 2026 exam was conducted in CBT mode from June 22 to 30, 2026, with a retest on July 5, 2026. The provisional answer key, question paper, and response sheets were released on August 16, 2026. Candidates can now download the final answer key from the official website and verify their responses to estimate their scores.

UGC NET June 2026 Re-Exam Dates for English, Commerce & Sociology
NTA will conduct the UGC NET June 2026 re-exam for English and Commerce on September 9, and Sociology on September 10, 2026. English will be held in Shift 1 (9 AM–12 Noon) and Commerce in Shift 2 (3 PM–6 PM) on September 9, while Sociology will be held in Shift 1 (9 AM–12 Noon) on September 10. The re-exam follows issues reported in these three papers, while the other 84 subjects will continue with the existing result process. Affected candidates do not need to re-apply or pay an additional fee; separate admit cards and centre details will be issued by NTA

How to Calculate UGC NET Score Using Response Sheets?
Candidates can calculate their probable UGC NET score by matching their recorded responses with the provisional answer key. Each correct answer carries 2 marks, and there is no negative marking in the UGC NET exam.
- Download your response sheet and the official answer key from NTA UGC NET website.
- Compare your answers with the official answer key for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- Count the number of correct answers in each paper.
- Multiply the number of correct answers by 2 (since each correct answer gives 2 marks).
- Add the marks from both papers to get your total score out of 300.
