The correct answer is
24,000
Area of one parallelogram tile: \(\text{base}\times\text{height} = 8\times6 = 48\) sq cm.
Total area for 500 tiles: \(500\times48 = 24{,}000\) sq cm.
Hence, the total area of the floor covered by the tiles is 24,000 cm2.
