Question

If 8 painters can paint 18 rooms in 9 days, then how many rooms can 4 painters paint in 12 days?

This question was previously asked in
RRB Group D 2025 Question Paper (18-Aug-2026) (Shift 1)
The correct answer is

12 rooms

Using \(\frac{M_1 D_1}{W_1} = \frac{M_2 D_2}{W_2}\): \(\frac{8 \times 9}{18} = \frac{4 \times 12}{W_2}\).

\(4 = \frac{48}{W_2}\), so W2 = 12.

Hence, the answer is 12 rooms.
