SSC MTS 2019 selection process included a two-tier exam structure. Paper-I was a Computer-Based Test with 100 objective-type questions from General English, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, and General Awareness, conducted over 90 minutes for 100 marks. Candidates shortlisted from Paper-I appeared for Paper-II, a descriptive test (letter/essay writing) of 50 marks to assess basic language skills. Final selection was based on performance in both papers.
