Attitude of the teacher that affects teaching pertains to
Affective domain
Bloom's taxonomy divides educational objectives into three domains, and placing attitude correctly among them answers the question.
Attitude belongs to the affective domain. This domain covers feelings, emotions, values, interests, appreciation and attitudes - everything to do with how a person feels about something rather than what they know or can physically do. Krathwohl set out its levels as receiving, responding, valuing, organisation and characterisation by a value.
The relevance to teaching is considerable. A teacher's attitude towards the subject, towards the learners and towards the profession affects the classroom continuously and is transmitted whether or not it is stated. Enthusiasm for a subject is contagious, and so is indifference; a teacher who believes every learner can succeed treats them differently from one who has written some off, and learners read that difference accurately. Attitudes also come through in tone, expression and manner rather than in words, which is why they cannot simply be concealed.
The cognitive domain covers knowledge and intellectual skills - remembering, understanding, applying, analysing, evaluating and creating. A teacher's mastery of the subject belongs here, but an attitude is not a piece of knowledge.
The psychomotor domain covers physical skills and coordination, such as handling apparatus or writing legibly on the board. It concerns doing rather than feeling.
Conative refers to will, striving and volition. It is a genuine term in psychology, where cognition, affection and conation are the three classical aspects of mind, but it is not one of the three domains in Bloom's taxonomy, which makes it a well judged distractor for a candidate who half remembers the psychological triad.
Hence the teacher's attitude pertains to the affective domain.
