MH SET 2021 Paper 1 Question Paper (26-Sep-2021)
The correct answer is

Enucleated in humans and in camels

Mammalian red blood cells lose their nucleus during maturation (nuclear extrusion from the orthochromatic erythroblast), so mature erythrocytes of all mammals are enucleated.

Human RBCs are enucleated, biconcave discs. Camels are mammals too: their RBCs are enucleated as well, but they are oval (elliptical) and flat rather than biconcave, an adaptation that lets them swell without bursting during rapid rehydration.

Frogs are amphibians; their RBCs are large, oval, biconvex and nucleated, so frogs cannot be paired with biconcave cells.

Therefore any statement calling camel RBCs nucleated, or calling camel or frog RBCs biconcave, is false, and the only fully correct statement is that both human and camel erythrocytes lack a nucleus.

Hence, Enucleated in humans and in camels.
