________ is an alternative way of representing the production function.
Isoquant
A production function can be written algebraically as \(Q=f(L,K)\), in a tabular form, or graphically. The graphical alternative used in producer theory is the isoquant — a curve showing all input combinations of labour and capital that yield the same output level.
A family of isoquants (an isoquant map) therefore represents the entire production function. "Short run" and "long run" denote time horizons, and "average product" is a measure derived from the function, not a representation of it.
