In the former period of his life J. Krishnamurthy was concerned with the spiritual institution called .................. .
Theosophical Society
J. Krishnamurti was discovered as a boy in 1909 at Adyar by C. W. Leadbeater of the Theosophical Society, and was brought up under Annie Besant, who projected him as the coming 'World Teacher'.
He headed the Order of the Star in the East, created by the Theosophists, but in 1929 he dissolved it, declaring that 'truth is a pathless land', and thereafter followed his own independent path.
The Brahmo Samaj was founded by Raja Ram Mohan Roy, the Ramakrishna Mission by Swami Vivekananda and the Arya Samaj by Swami Dayananda Saraswati; Krishnamurti was not associated with any of them.
Hence, the spiritual institution of his earlier life was the Theosophical Society.
