Item discrimination
Item analysis examines each item of a written test using two main indices: item difficulty and item discrimination.
Item discrimination tells how well an item separates high scorers (good students) from low scorers (poor students). It is calculated as the proportion of the upper group answering the item right minus the proportion of the lower group doing so; a high positive value shows good discrimination.
Item difficulty is the percentage of students who answer the item right, item revision is the rewriting of weak items after analysis, and item consistency is not the index used for this purpose.
Hence, the answer is Item discrimination.
