SSC CGL 2025 Tier 2 Paper 1 Question Paper (19-Jan-2026)
The correct answer is

18 : 7

In a partnership, profit share is proportional to capital × time.

Gautam: capital ₹60,000 for the full 24 months.

\(60{,}000 \times 24 = 14{,}40{,}000\)

Jatin: capital ₹35,000 for \(24 - 8 = 16\) months.

\(35{,}000 \times 16 = 5{,}60{,}000\)

Profit ratio:

\(\dfrac{14{,}40{,}000}{5{,}60{,}000} = \dfrac{1440}{560} = \dfrac{18}{7}\)

Hence the ratio is 18 : 7. The correct answer is option 1).
