The correct answer is

₹1,65,000

The initial investments of A and B are in the ratio of 1:2. The total profit earned was ₹6,00,000, which they will divide in the same ratio. A’s share in the profit is: \[ \frac{1}{3} \times 6,00,000 = ₹2,00,000 \] A also added ₹50,000 to his share, and the project gave a total yield of ₹4,20,000, so: \[ \frac{1}{3} \times 4,20,000 = ₹1,40,000 \] Therefore, A’s total share is ₹2,00,000 + ₹1,40,000 = ₹3,40,000. Thus, the final amount is ₹2,35,000.
