UGC NET 2024 Cancelled Amid Paper Leak Allegations: Re-Exam Details Soon

Ministry of Home Education has cancelled the UGC NET June 2024 held on June 18, 2024, in two shifts in OMR mode. It has been cancelled on the reports received from National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit of Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) which states that the integrity of the exam may have been compromised.

“To ensure the highest level of transparency and sanctity of the examination process, the Ministry of Education, Government of India has decided that the UGC-NET June 2024 Examination be cancelled” the notice reads.

What’s Next after UGC NET June 2024 Exam Cancellation?

As per the previous official data released by the NTA, the exam was conducted at 1205 exam centres in 317 cities across India. A total of 11,21,225 candidates had registered for the UGC NET June 2024 exam of which 9,08,580 candidates appeared for the exam in two shifts.
