CTET Admit Card 2020 for July session has been postponed. The exam date has also been postponed. Fresh dates will be announced soon.  Generally, the board releases CTET admit card at least 15 days before the exam date. After releasing the admit card, candidates can download the admit card by visiting the official website i.e ctet.nic.in by logging in with valid Registration No. and Password provided during the time of registration.

23 October 2020: CBSE has brought a clarification on fake news, which was viral related to the CTET 2020 exam date. 

21 October 2020: CTET passing certificate validity has been increased to lifetime from 7 years by NCTE. 

21 September 2020: CTET 2020 exam will be organised in October. Hence, the CTET Admit card 2020 will be released to the according date.

Candidates have to carry an original photo ID proof, its copy, and two passport size photos along with CTET admit card to the exam centre. Follow the procedure given below to download CTET Hall Ticket:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CTET 2020 i.e. ctet.nic.in.

Step 2: Click ‘Login – CTET July 2020’ link.

Step 3: Click on “CTET Admit Card” link and a new page will be displayed.

Step 4: Select the link to download your CTET Admit Card with the application number and password or date of birth.

Step 5: Enter your CTET Application Number and Date of Birth or Password.

Step 6: CTET Admit card will appear on the computer screen. View and Download the document for future references.

Registrants must ensure that all the particulars mentioned in their admit cards are correct. They must ensure that the photograph and signatures are properly visible. During the examination, the invigilator will check details to verify the identity of the applicant. In case, there are any mistakes that need rectification, contact CBSE authority immediately.

How to Retrieve Application Number/Password?

Sometimes candidates forget or lost their Registration Number and Password. In that case, you can follow the below-mentioned steps to retrieve the same:

Step 1: Visit the official website

Step 2: Click on the Login button.

Step 3: Click on 'Forgot Password' or 'Forgot Application Number' option

Step 4: Enter the information asked on the screen.

Step 5: Click on Submit.

On clicking the button, the application number/ password will be re-generated and new information will be sent to you via email or SMS. Candidates are also advised to go through  CTET 2020 Exam Pattern while preparing for the exam.

Exam Day Guidelines

Document Required with CTET Admit Card 2020

Candidates appearing for CTET 2020, should carry the following documents.

  • An original and photocopy of photo ID proof - PAN Card/ Aadhaar Card/Voter Identity Card/Passport/Driving License
  • Passport size photo: At least two recent passport size photographs. 

What to Carry in CTET Exam Centre?

  • Ball Point Pen (BLUE/BLACK) of good quality
  • Downloaded CTET Admit Card
  • One Photo ID proof (any one of the following PAN Card/ AADHAAR Card/Passport/ Driving Licence/Voter ID card)
  • Photocopy of ID proof
  • 2 passport size photos

Note: No rough work is to be done on the answer sheet. All rough work should be done in the Test Booklet only.

What NOT to Carry in CTET Exam Center?

  • Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/scanner, Cardboard etc.
  • Any communication devices like Mobile phones, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health band etc.
  • Any Watch/Wristwatch, Camera, wallet, goggles, handbags etc.
  • Any other item which could be used for unfair means and for hiding communication devices like Camera, Bluetooth device etc.

Exam Day Guidelines

  1. Do not forget to reach to the exam center before two hours of starting the exam
  2. You should definitely wear a mask on your face, otherwise, you will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
  3. The aspirants are requested to bring the CTET Admit card within a transparent poly bag.
  4. Before entering the exam hall, the aspirants should sanitize their hands.
  5. The candidates will not need to carry anything apart from the photo ID proof and the CTET Admit card 2020.
  6. You do not need to bring mobile phones, or any electronic gadgets, calculators, stationery items, wallets, log tables, tape recorder jackets, camera, handbags, purse, calculators, debit, credit cards, electronic pen, scanners, pen drives, goggles, microphones  or watches to the exam center. 
  7. To fill the OMR sheet, you should bring a blue or black ballpoint pen. Do not try to use pencils to fill the OMR sheet.
  8. You have to sign the attendance sheet twice.
  9. Try to involve yourself in any unfair means, otherwise, you will be debarred from the exam center.

Read the following important points, which should be followed to the aspirants regarding the CTET 2020 Admit Card:

  1. Do not forget to carry the CTET admit card to the allotted exam center.
  2. If you find any discrepancy in the given information in the CTET Admit card, then the aspirants need to talk to the exam authorities immediately in order to make the correction.
  3. The aspirants will not get permission to appear for the exam if they do not bring the CTET to admit card to the exam center.
  4. You should reach and report the exam hall for at least one hour before starting the exam.
  5. If the aspirants will reach the exam center after 9.30 AM and 2 PM for taking paper I and paper II respectively, they will not get permission to enter the exam hall.
  6. Better, go through the exam day instructions carefully, which are mentioned on the admit card.

Hi Chetan, admit cards for CTET December session are expected to be made available from Nov 20, 2019 (tentatively). Thus, right now, link for admit card download has not been enabled.
