CTET 2019 (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) was organized by the CBSE to certify teachers for Primary (Classes I–V) and Upper Primary (Classes VI–VIII) levels. The exam consisted of two papers, each carrying 150 objective-type questions from sections such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Languages I & II, and subject-specific areas like Mathematics, Environmental Studies, and Social Science.

CTET 2019 exam was held on in two papers. Paper I was for candidates aspiring to teach Classes I–V, while Paper II was for Classes VI–VIII. Each paper had 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying 1 mark each, making a total of 150 marks. The duration of the exam was 2 hours 30 minutes, and there was no negative marking.
