Both Paper I & II contain a total of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) each. 1 mark is awarded to correct answers and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. The paper is conducted in offline mode as a pen-and-paper based test. Paper 1 consists of 5 sections while Paper 2 consists of 4 sections. Candidates have to choose between Mathematics & Science and Social Studies in Paper 2.
