The online computer-based test will be held from February 20-22, 2021. The AFCAT result is expected to be declared in March in online mode. After releasing the result on the official website, candidates will be able to download the AFCAT Result using their Email ID, Password, and Captcha code in pdf format.

How to Check AFCAT Result 2021?

Candidates must check the AFCAT result on the official website. The result will not be sent via post. A list of qualified candidates has been published with their respective roll numbers. The qualified candidates will then have to register for AFSB testing.

Applicants can view AFCAT 2021 Result by following the mentioned steps:

  • Visit the official website of AFCAT i.e.
  • Click on “AFCAT 2021 Result” on the notification bar.
  • The page will navigate and open into a new tab in pdf format.
  • Save the pdf file or click Ctrl+F and type your roll number and hit enter.
  • If the entered roll number is qualified, it will match the enter case and will be highlighted.
  • Applicants should look for further notification regarding the testing process in the notification bar.
  • Qualified candidates will need to register to proceed with testing as per IAF guidelines.

What is After the AFCAT Result?

After the release of AFCAT Scorecard 2021, candidates need to appear for the AFSB Interview. Check the following points:

  1. The candidates will be shortlisted based on the written exam.
  2. The qualified candidates will be called for the AFSB Interview.
  3. The Interview will majorly consist of three stages such as Officer Intelligence Rating Test, Psychological Tests, and Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS).
  4. The Medical Test is also required to qualify to be eligible for the final selection.

The AFCAT cut-off marks are expected to be released on April 5, 2021 (Tentative). The factors which will affect the cutoff marks are the total number of vacant posts, difficulty level of the exam, the number of appeared candidates., and the previous year’s cutoff marks.

Here are the expected cutoff marks of this year:

Ans. No, there are no sectional cut-off marks in AFCAT I 2021 exam.

Hi Nafisa. The AFCAT result for the written exam is declared within 30-60 days and when the result gets declared, shortlisted candidate are asked to select their SSC date and selection center.

How can I apply for the AFCAT exam if I just got my results having backlogs in 8th sem of degree? Should I apply for the exam considering 7th sem as my result or I should clear out my backlogs and then I will be eligible for AFCAT?

Hi Ammar. As per the recent notification made the AFCAT exam authorities, candidates must nit have any present backlog and must have obtained at least 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together up to the last semester / year. So  make sure that your backlogs are clear while giving the exam.

In the AFCAT application form, I entered my aggregate as 64 percent instead of 63 percent because the last semester exam results were not announced at the time of issue of the application, is it okay or will they disqualify me?

Hi Karan. In case your score is 60 percent aggregate in your engineering, then you are eligible for the AFCAT entrance exams. In your case, you meet the minimum eligibility criteria, you will not be disqualified from the exam.
