SSC Stenographer Selection Process 2021: CBT

The desired candidates, who have successfully filled the SSC Stenographer Application Form, should appear for the computer based test (CBT) of SSC Stenographer exam. The SSC Stenographer exam consists of three sections- General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, English Language.

SSC Stenographer Selection Process 2021: Skill Test

The aspirants, who will qualify the CBT, will be called for the skill test. As per the SSC Stenographer exam pattern, the aspirants have to appear for one dictation for 10 minutes either in Hindi or in English at the speed of 100 words and 80 words per minute. If the aspirants qualify the exam, they will be joined to Grade C and Grade D posts respectively. The SSC Stenographer Skill test will be conducted at the Commission’s Regional/ Sub-regional offices or at the SSC Stenographer Exam centre.

SSC Stenographer Document Verification Process

Document verification is the last stage of the SSC Stenographer selection process 2021. The aspirants have to carry certain documents like educational qualification certificate, valid photo ID, category certificate etc. As per the official notice, the candidates have to submit the photocopies and need to present along with the original documents. If the aspirants fail to be present to the document verification round, they will not be considered for the final selection. The candidates will need to carry the below mentioned documents to the document verification round:

  • Valid Photo ID proof
  • Driving License
  • Employer ID (Govt./ PSU)
  • Voter ID Card
  • PAN Card
  • Any other Photo ID Card issued by Central or State Govt
  • Passport
  • Government School/ College ID Card
  • Aadhaar Card/ Printout of E-Aadhaar
  • Ex-servicemen Discharge Book issued by Ministry of Defence

Required Documents to be Submitted along with the Photocopies

  • Matriculation/ Secondary Certificate
  • Educational Qualification Certificate
  • Caste/ Category Certificate (if belongs to reserved categories)
  • Person with Disabilities Certificate (If applicable)
  • Relevant Certificate if seeking any age relaxation
  • No objection certificate, in case they are already employed to a Governmental organisation.

Resolution of Ties in SSC Stenographer 2021

If two aspirants will obtain same marks, then the tie breaker will be applied for completing the SSC Stenographer Selection Process:

  • Scores in Part I (i.e. General Intelligence & Reasoning)
  • Scores in Part II (i.e. General Awareness)
  • Date of Birth, with the older aspirants placed higher.
  • Alphabetical order of the candidates names.
