Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) for SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’ Exam 2025 on June 18, 2026. Candidates who qualified for the Computer-Based Examination declared on November 28, 2025, and appeared in the Stenography Skill Test have been considered for allocation. The allocation has been prepared under SSC's new Sliding Mechanism and includes candidates who submitted their option-cum-preference forms between May 5 and May 8, 2026.

SSC Stenographer Scorecard 2026

SSC Stenographer 2026 Scorecard will be released by SSC after a few days on its official website. The scorecard will be released for all candidates who appeared in cBT on August 6-8, 2026. It will contain the candidate’s marks in the Computer-Based Test, section-wise scores, normalised marks, and qualifying status. It will also include personal details such as roll number, category, and exam shift information.

Once SSC Stenographer result 2026 is released, qualified candidates take their Stenography Skill Test, where their shorthand and transcription abilities are evaluated. Those who clear the skill test will appear for the Document Verification (DV), where SSC verifies eligibility, educational certificates, category documents, and identity proofs. After DV, SSC prepares the final merit list based on CBT performance, skill-test qualification, and category-wise vacancies.
