SSC JE Exam Pattern 2026; Check Paper 1 & 2 Pattern, Marking Scheme

SSC JE 2026 Exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both are objective-type tests conducted in a computer-based format. Paper 1 covers topics like General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and Civil, mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. Paper 2 offers an in-depth, topic-specific analysis of technical subjects. Candidates can take SSC JE 2026 exam in either English or Hindi. 

SSC JE Exam Pattern 2026

SSC JE Exam Pattern 2026 comprises two papers, with questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and General Engineering. The engineering section is based on the candidate’s selected discipline and educational background.

• For the Engineering part of the exam, the candidates need to choose the discipline as per their educational background. Thus, the candidates of Civil Engineering have to appear for Part A, those from an Electrical Engineering background need to go for Part B, and Mechanical Engineering Candidates should choose Part C in Papers 1 and II.
