Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts central level recruitment exam nationally every year for Junior Engineer Post in different types of the branch such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical etc. in all over India. SSC JE Exam Pattern

Candidates should check the syllabus and SSC JE exam pattern before starting their preparation, here we have discussed the exam pattern for SSC JE Exam 2021. This exam consists of 2 papers; Paper 1 and Paper 2 and each paper contains 3 sections/parts, as per General Engineering is concerned aspirants will attempt only the part as the option chosen by the candidates during the form filling up.

  1. The candidates appearing for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil/Quantity Surveying Contract) will attempt the Part A(Civil & Structural) of both Paper 1 and 2.
  2. The candidates appearing for the post of Junior Engineer(Electrical) will attempt Part B(Electrical) of both Paper 1 and Paper
  3. The candidates appearing for the post of Junior Engineer(Mechanical) will attempt Part C (Mechanical) of Paper 1 and Paper 2.

SSC JE 2021 Paper 1 Exam Pattern

  • Question Pattern – Multiple Choice Question
  • Marking Scheme – for each correct answer, there will be +1 mark and -0.25 mark for each wrong answer.

General Intelligence and Reasoning - This section contains questions related to mental ability, general logic and simple numerical to check the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationships.
