SBI PO Result 2020 for preliminary exam and Main exam will available on https://bank.sbi/careers. or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers. The results links for SBI PO Prelims and Main are different. The Final Merit List will also release on the different links on the same website. Candidates can follow the following steps to download any SBI PO Results. 

  1. Visit the official website of SBI [https://bank.sbi/careers. or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers

  2. Go to the ‘Current Opening’ section from ‘Join SBI’ tab

  3. Go to the ‘Recruitment of Probationary Officers’ tab

  4. Look for “SBI PO 2020 Result” link of the home page and click on it.

  5. Candidates have to enter their Roll number/ Registration Number and Date of Birth.

  6. Result will be displayed on the screen.

  7. Download it and take a print copy of SBI PO Result 2020 for future reference.

The conducting body i.e. SBI will release three different Scorecards for SBI PO Prelim, SBI PO Main, and Final Result. The visible details on the scorecard are:

SBI PO 2020 Scorecard for Prelims examination:

 State Bank of India (SBI) will announce the result for the Prelims stage on June 29, 2020(tentative). Based on marks obtained in three sections i.e. English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability in the prelims exam, candidates will be shortlisted for SBI PO Mains 2020 exam.

SBI PO 2020 Scorecard for the Main exam: 

State Bank of India will declare the Main result on August 24, 2020(tentative) shortly after the SBI PO Main exam. The result of SBI PO Main is prepared on basis of candidate’s marks scored in Objective type test including four sections i.e. Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, General / Economy / Banking Awareness, Data Analysis & Interpretation, and English Language and the Descriptive test. The Descriptive Test will only be considered for those candidates who will qualify the Objective Test of SBI PO Main 2020. 

SBI PO 2020 Final Scorecard:

It is expected that SBI will declare the final result in October 2020. The final result is announced on the basis of candidate’s performance in the SBI PO Mains exam and Group Discussion & Interview accumulated. While preparing the final result, the applicant’s score will be normalized to 100. SBI will release a final merit list and applicants who obtain a higher rank in their category will be admitted for the post of Probationary Officers (PO) in SBI Branches.

The selection of the candidates is done based on merit. 

  • The merit list is prepared on the basis of the marks attained by the candidates in all the stages of the examination. 

  • Candidates qualifying SBI PO Prelim and SBI PO Main are eligible to participate in Group Discussion and Interview stage of SBI PO 2020. 

  • Merit list is prepared on the basis of marks scored in Main exam and Group Discussion and Interview.

  •  The final result of the SBI PO 2020 is declared after all the stages have been taken.

  • SBI PO 2020 cut off is the minimum marks required for qualifying to the next round.

Ans. Unfortunately, from the past few years, the difficulty level of SBI PO exam has been increased due to competition. Even though, it can be cleared easily with proper preparation. SBI PO is considered to be one of the most difficult exams among the National-level government exams. 

Question: Is there any Sectional cutoff in SBI PO Prelims Exam?

Ans. There is no sectional cutoff in SBI PO Preliminary exam. The sectional cutoff has been removed by State Bank of India. But the conducting body has limited the timing of every section.

Question: Is there any negative marking in SBI PO Mains exam?

Ans. Yes, there is negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer in SBI PO prelims and mains exams. However, no negative marks to be imposed, if a question is left unattempt or blank.

Question: Will the cut off of prelims exam taken into consideration for final selection?

Ans. No, the cut off of prelims exam is not taken into consideration for final selection.
