Till 2018, Candidates had to clear overall as well as sectional cutoffs in order to qualify the exam. There are various types of cutoff scores that the candidate needed to obtain to successfully crack the exam. Complete information about these parameters is given below. The test paper is divided into several sections such as Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge and English.
SBI sets sectional cut-offs and candidate needed to clear each cut off to qualify the competitive test. Also, clearing only the sectional cut-offs was not sufficient. Candidate had to secure the overall cut-off declared by SBI. The SBI PO 2020 Overall Cut-off is different from the sectional cut-offs. However, this year, there is no provision of sectional cutoffs.

There are various factors that affect the cutoffs of the exam. For instance, this year, there has been a significant rise in prelims cutoff from last year as the paper sets were comparatively easier than last year. SBI PO 2020 cutoff is declared separately for various stages of the exam. The first round of the selection process is the preliminary test. Cut-off marks are declared for this round which the candidates must obtain in order to move on to the next round.
The second round is the SBI PO Main Exam. Again, cut-offs are announced separately for this stage. To qualify the exam, the candidates must clear the cut-off score for mains as well. The final stage of the selection process is the personal interview round.
For PI round, cut-offs are announced independently. Based on who manages to secure the cut-off for this stage, candidates are finally recruited.
