The State Bank of India has released the Cutoff of Prelims for 2020-21 on 18 January along with SBI PO Prelims 2020 Result. On the other hand, the SBI PO Cutoff 2020-21 for Mains is not yet announced though mains result is out , and it can be assumed that it will be released in March 2021 (tentatively).Currently Interview Call letter is out for selected candidates which is available to download on SBI Official website. The exam conducting authority will release the category-wise cutoff on the official website along with the SBI PO Result. The cutoff of SBI PO marks varies from stage to stage and year to year.

To check the SBI PO Cutoff (Mains), the candidates should log in to their registered account with roll number or registration number and date of birth or password. There will be no sectional cutoff marks in SBI PO Mains exam. The candidates, who will secure the SBI PO cutoff marks (Mains), will be called for the interview round.

Factors Affecting the SBI PO Cutoff 2020-21

The SBI PO Cutoff scores are dependent on several factors, which are listed in the following:

  • Total number of vacancies
  • Number of aspirants appeared for the exam
  • Difficulty level of the test
  • Category of the aspirants

Points to Remember

  • It must be noted that the cut-off marks, once decided and announced by SBI, cannot be contested. The candidates will have no right to challenge the cut-off, in case they are dissatisfied with it.
  • The process of normalization has been adopted for calculating the final cut-off score of SBI PO 2020-21. The procedure for calculating the cut-off score is given below.
  • The recruitment of candidates is done strictly based on the SBI PO result cum merit list.
  • The SBI PO 2020 cut-off marks are normalized as the following formula: Total Marks secured by last ranked selected candidate (Out 0f 100) = Written Test (Normalized to 75) + GD & Interview (Normalized to 25)

PO Mains Cutoff

SBI PO 2020-21: Expected Cutoff (Mains

The SBI PO Mains exam is commenced for the shortlisted aspirants of SBI PO Prelims exam. The SBI PO Mains cutoff is evaluated out of 250 marks. Based on the cutoff score, three times of the category wise vacancies, the candidates will be called for the Group Discussion and Interview round. On the other hand, the descriptive test will be evaluated only for those aspirants, who have qualified each level objective test.

  • SBI PO 2020-21 cut-off is the minimum marks required for qualifying to the next round.

Hi. Candidates who have cleared both SBI PO Prelims and SBI PO Mains can take part in the Group Discussion and Interview stage of SBI. The final merit list will be prepared considering the overall marks scored in the Main exam and Group Discussion and Interview.

Hi Digvijay, SBI has already released the final result for SBI PO exam. After declaration of mains result, qualified candidates have to appear in group discussion and personal interview conducted at allotted exam centers. And those who will qualify all the 4 stages will be allotted respective banks as per their performance and availability of position in the concerned branch.

Hi Shivani, generally, for all banking exams and all posts be it Clerk or PO, graduation is held necessary. Thus, you can apply for banking exams after your graduation only.
