SBI PO is conducted every year by State Bank of India to recruit probationary officers for different branches across the country. There are three stages of the exam which are prelims, mains and interview. The SBI PO 2020 Prelims was conducted on December 31, 2020 and January 2-5, 2021. The Mains was conducted on January 29, 2021 and the result was released on March 16, 2021. The interview admit card was released on February 20, 2021 and available for download till March 3, 2021.

There is one mark per question and for every wrong answer, there will be 0.25 negative marks. There is no deduction for unattempted questions.

Maximum marks is lost by candidates in this section as the options are rather confusing. For SBI PO 2020, the English language section in the prelims paper for all the shifts all day was considered comparatively easy by the candidates.

It is generally the toughest section of the SBI PO exam. However, if you have enough practice and accuracy at solving this segment, it can be very scoring. In SBI PO 2020, the DI, Quadratic Equation, questions were easy to moderate. The approximation questions were easy. Missing number series was moderately difficult.

As per the students, the reasoning section was tough. The questions were time-consuming and lengthy, making it difficult to be attempted completely. There were five different types of puzzles- seating arrangement, month-based, classification, order and sequence which were the most difficult.
In totality, the Puzzles section was moderately challenging. Blood relation questions were easy so were alphabet-based questions. Syllogism and number-based questions were moderate to easy.

The exam was conducted from January 4-6, 2021. The set of question paper was different for each shift and day hence the difficulty level varied slightly too.
The SBI PO prelims exam result has been declared and the cut-off has been released. The exam is highly competitive and every year more candidates opt for it. The exam analysis let you get a clear idea about the overall difficulty level so that you can prepare accordingly. The SBI prelims marks is not considered for final merit list, but it is nevertheless important to qualify for the mains.
