The correct answer is

Justice Harilal J. Kania

The Supreme Court of India was inaugurated on 28 January 1950, two days after the Constitution came into force, replacing the Federal Court.

Justice Harilal Jekisundas Kania, who was the last Chief Justice of the Federal Court, became the first Chief Justice of India and served until his death in November 1951.

Justice M. Patanjali Sastri was the second Chief Justice, while A.M. Ahmadi and H.L. Dattu held the office much later.

Hence, Justice Harilal J. Kania.
