The correct answer is

Paulo Freire

Pedagogy of Freedom: Ethics, Democracy and Civic Courage is the last book written by the Brazilian educator Paulo Freire, published shortly after his death in 1997.

In it Freire extends the ideas of his classic Pedagogy of the Oppressed (1968): teaching is an ethical and political act, the teacher must respect the autonomy and knowledge of the pupil, and education should develop critical consciousness (conscientização) rather than follow the 'banking' model of depositing information.

Rabindranath Tagore is known for Shantiniketan and Gitanjali, J. Krishnamurti for Education and the Significance of Life, and Nel Noddings for her ethics of care (Caring, 1984); none of them wrote this book.

Hence, the author of ‘Pedagogy of Freedom’ is Paulo Freire.
