The correct answer is

Nanda Vansh

The Nandas followed the Shishunagas — option 3.

The order of the Magadhan dynasties is one of the most frequently asked sequences in Indian history :

OrderDynastyNotable rulers
1HaryankaBimbisara, Ajatashatru, Udayin — who founded Pataliputra
2ShishunagaShishunaga, who destroyed the power of Avanti; Kalashoka, in whose reign the second Buddhist council met at Vaishali
3NandaMahapadma Nanda, called ekarat and sarvakshatrantaka; Dhana Nanda, the last
4MauryaChandragupta, Bindusara, Ashoka
5ShungaPushyamitra Shunga, who overthrew the last Maurya

About the Nandas. Mahapadma Nanda is described in the Puranas as of low birth, and as the destroyer of all the kshatriya houses — the first ruler to bring most of northern India under one power. The Nandas built an enormous army; the Greek accounts of Alexander’s invasion report that the prospect of facing the Nanda forces on the Ganges is what turned his troops back at the Beas in 326 BCE. Their wealth was proverbial, and they are credited with a systematic revenue administration and with irrigation works.

Their fall. Dhana Nanda was unpopular, largely because of heavy taxation, and about 321 BCE he was overthrown by Chandragupta Maurya with the help of Chanakya — the episode dramatised in Vishakhadatta’s play Mudrarakshasa. The Mauryas therefore came after the Nandas, which is what makes option 1 wrong, and the Shungas came much later still, after the Mauryas, which disposes of option 2.

Hence, the answer is Nanda Vansh.
