The correct answer is

Apply BODMAS, treating ‘of’ before ×/÷.

Numerator: \(8\text{ of }8=64\), \(4\text{ of }4=16\), giving \(7+8\times 8\div 64+8\div 8\times 16=7+1+16=24\).

Denominator: \(4\text{ of }4=16\), \(4\text{ of }2=8\), giving \(4\div 16+4\times 4\div 4-4\div 8=0.25+4-0.5=3.75\).

Therefore the value is \(\dfrac{24}{3.75}=\) 6.4.
