The correct answer is

Both [A] and [R] are true and [R] is the correct explanation of [A]

The State Resource Centre for Women (SRCW) was set up in Tamil Nadu under the National Mission for Empowerment of Women to act as the State-level hub for women-centric programmes. The assertion is true.

The SRCW works under the Department of Social Welfare and Women Empowerment and provides convergence, research, training and monitoring support for schemes meant for women.

Schemes such as Mahila Shakti Kendra, One Stop Centres (Sakhi) and the Women Helpline (181) are coordinated through this centre, so the reason is also true.

Since the centre was created precisely to coordinate and converge these women's schemes under the mission, the reason correctly explains the assertion.

Hence, Both [A] and [R] are true and [R] is the correct explanation of [A].
