The correct answer is

Rs. One lakh

The Government of Tamil Nadu instituted the Bharathi Young Poet Award in memory of the national poet Subramania Bharathi to encourage poetic talent among college students.

Every year the award is given on Bharathi's birth anniversary (11 December) to two college students, one young man and one young woman, chosen through a poetry competition.

Each of the two winners receives a cash prize of one lakh rupees along with a certificate of appreciation.

Hence, Rs. One lakh.
