The correct answer is

A is false, but R is true

A is false, but R is true is correct.

The Copper Hoard culture of the upper Gangetic basin (western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and adjoining areas), dated roughly to the second millennium BCE, is known for hoards of copper harpoons, antennae swords, flat celts and anthropomorphic figures.

Reason (R) is true: at sites such as Saipai, Lal Qila and Atranjikhera, copper hoards have been found with Ochre Coloured Pottery (OCP) and remains of mud-built structures.

Assertion (A) is false: making such copper tools needs metallurgical skill, and their association with pottery and mud houses shows that the people were settled agricultural communities, not nomadic hunters.

Since the Assertion is false and the Reason is true, the correct choice is that A is false but R is true.
