Question

Find the odd one out from the given options.

This question was previously asked in
RRB JE 2018 CBT 1 Question Paper (01-Jun-2019) Shift 3
The correct answer is

15

15 is correct.

All four numbers are odd, so odd and even cannot separate them; the useful test is the factors of each number.

19, 13 and 17 have no factors other than 1 and the number itself, so all three are prime numbers.

\(15 = 3 \times 5\), so 15 is a composite number and is the only one that does not belong to the group of primes.
