This question was previously asked in
UPTET 2026 Paper 2 Social Studies Question Paper (3-Jul-2026) (Shift 1)
The correct answer is

4 hours 30 minutes

Converting the arrival time to the 24-hour format, 1:45 p.m. becomes 13:45.

The departure time is 9:15 a.m., which is 09:15 in the 24-hour format.

The duration of the journey is \(13{:}45 - 09{:}15 = 4\ \text{hours}\ 30\ \text{minutes}\).

Hence, the journey lasts 4 hours 30 minutes.
