IBPS fixes the minimum marks for each stage of examination – Prelims, Main exam, and interview. Only candidates scoring more than the cutoff marks appear in the next stage of the IBPS RRB Selection Process.
IBPS RRB will consist of several sections such as Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and so on. The sections may differ according to the post that the exam is being conducted for. For all these individual sections, IBPS will set separate cut-offs. The candidate will have to clear each IBPS RRB Sectional Cut-off in order to crack the exam. Also, check the IBPS Exam Calendar for 2021-22
Mere passing in individual tests may not be sufficient as candidates should also score significantly high 'Total score’ to be called for interviews/provisional allotment. The decision of IBPS in short-listing and calling numbers of candidates for Common Interview / provisional allotment shall be Final.

There are different kinds of cutoff marks that the candidate must secure in order to qualify for the IBPS RRB. The candidate must have complete information regarding this aspect.
The entrance exam will consist of several sections such as Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and so on. The sections may differ according to the post that the exam is being conducted for. For all these individual sections, IBPS will set separate cut-offs. The candidate will have to clear each IBPS RRB Sectional Cut-off in order to crack the exam.
In addition to the sectional cut-offs, the candidate will also have to obtain the overall cut-off marks set for the exam. IBPS RRB Overall Cut-off will be different from the sectional cut-offs and must be secured to clear the paper. Only when the candidate is found to have achieved all sectional and the overall cut-off, will he qualify for the exam.
A Provisional Allotment list will be drawn out for each category as per the number of vacant seats, however, it will not guarantee recruitment. Certain eligibility criteria must be fulfilled and the final allotment will be done on a merit basis. Candidates must get their documents verified and ensure all the other eligibility conditions are fulfilled.
The number of vacancies will be filled according to merit and IBPS or RRBs will not be responsible if the vacant seats are not filled. The guidelines for age relaxations, reserved category, etc. set by the Government of India will be kept in mind during the provisional allotment of seats.
Own Merit Candidates of reserved category will be adjusted against the vacancies of unreserved category and will be given provisional allotment first treating them nationally as reserved candidates as per their preference of Regional Rural Banks. Such candidate will not be adjusted against a reserved post, however, will be treated as if he/she is a reserved category candidate for allotment of seat.
If two or more candidates obtain the same marks, allotment will be done based on the Date of birth of the candidate(s).
