Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts national level recruitment exam every year for Group A officers scale (1,2,3) and Group B for the Regional Rural Banks of India. There are almost 10,000 vacant seats for various posts as per 2020 recruitment data. The tentative date for IBPS RRB clerk 2021 pre-exam is on November 2021 and the Prelims will be held on December 2021 and Mains will be held on January 2021. IBPS RRB recruits candidates for 2 posts i.e. Office Assistant/Clerk and Officer Scale. So exam processes are different for each of the exams.
This exam will be conducted in two phases,
Preliminary Exam -There are total 80 questions in preliminary exams and each question contains 1 mark and for wrong answer 0.25 number will be deducted and the total time duration is 45 minutes for the exam.
Mains Exam – There is a total of 200 questions and each question contains 1 marks each and for wrong answer 0.25 number will be deducted. Total time duration is 2 hours for this Mains Exam.
The selection will be done solely on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates, there will not be any interview for selection process.
This exam will be conducted on 3 phases –
Preliminary Exam – There will be total 80 questions and 80 marks and total time duration is 45 minutes. Each question contains 1 mark and for each wrong question, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
Mains Exam – There will be a total of 200 marks for 200 questions, each question containing 1 marks and each wrong question will deduct 0.25 marks from the obtained marks.
There will be an interview process after the Mains Exam for getting selected into the post.
