CTET Syllabus is determined by CBSE comprising of Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 and Language 2, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Both languages 1 and 2 are compulsory. There are two Papers in CTET 2021 with different Exam Patterns, difficulty level, and syllabus.
CTET Syllabus for Paper I is based on the topics prescribed for classes 1 – 5 and for Paper II, the syllabus is of the Elementary stage. Candidates scoring a minimum of 60% marks will be issued an Eligibility Certificate by the board.

Paper 2 of CTET 2021 is conducted for individuals willing to become teachers for Elementary classes. It will consist of 4 compulsory sections. They will have an option in the fourth section which aspirants should opt for as per the subject they wish to teach. Section-wise distribution is tabulated below:

Ques: What is the marking scheme in CTET 2021?
Ans: In both papers each question is of 1 mark. There is no negative marking in the paper. In Paper 1 all the sections carry equal weightage that is 30. In Paper 2, the last section that is Mathematics and Science or Social Studies/Social Science carries maximum weighatge of 60 marks and other section carries the weightage of 30 marks each.
