Ans: CDS English is set at the 10+2 level, so basic school grammar and graduate level vocabulary are enough.

Ans: No. Unlike General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics papers, the CDS English paper is set only in English. This is because the paper itself tests the candidate's English language skills.
